The Bend Bullets is a grassroots program established to grow the sport of roller hockey in Central Oregon. From learning to play, to rec league games. The BDP aims to establish the next generation of hockey players. The best way to help players develop is to ensure they fall in love with the game at a young age. The BDP will provide a fun and engaging environment where players can learn skills, build confidence, and become a better overall hockey player.
Our program runs almost year-round and is a direct compliment to playing ice hockey; just ask the hundreds of NHL players who grew up playing roller hockey. Imagine a version of hockey that is hyper focused on the direct fundamental skills of hockey from skating, stick-handling, passing and shooting. Inline hockey provides increased possession time with the puck, increased number of puck touches, and professional coaches ensuring the proper technique from the very beginning. All our Bullet coaches are elite ice and inline players who are accredited and have played and coached at the highest levels of hockey.
Prerequisites for joining our program include being able to skate on ice or inline and being under the age of 13. If your child can skate on ice or inline already and has expressed interest in playing hockey or has already played organized hockey, this will be a great fit.
